The Committee has a request to study the issue of cellular telephones in the courtroom. See letter from Judge Simonson.
Should N.D.R.Ct. 10.1 be amended to require every cellular telephone to be turned off in the courtroom, unless the court permits otherwise? The rest of the changes in the proposal are stylistic. Should N.D.R.Crim.P. 53 be repealed, because it is duplicative of N.D.R.Ct. 10.1?
