RE: Rule 7, N.D.R.App.P.; Bond for Costs
At the last meeting, a motion carried to repeal N.D.R.App.P. 7. The Committee indicated requiring a bond for costs creates a procedural exercise without significant purpose. Rule 7 does not pattern a federal rule.
The following proposal indicates the repeal of Rule 7. The Committee wanted the chance to review the explanatory note before the proposal is submitted to the court.
