RE: Annual Rules Package
Staff submitted the committee's annual rules package to the Supreme Court on July 5, 2001. A hearing was held on the rules package October 23, 2001. By Order of Adoption dated December 6, 2001, the Supreme Court approved the committee's amendments to N.D.R.Civ.P. 12, 77, 82, N.D.R.App.P. 42, N.D.R.Ct. 2.2 and 3.2. The Supreme Court also adopted proposed N.D.R.Civ.P. 37.1 as N.D.R.Civ.P. 39.1. The Supreme Court adopted the committee's rules package with only stylistic changes. The Supreme Court's changes are reflected in the accompanying rules material.
