RE: Rule 10, N.D.R.App.P., The Record on Appeal
North Dakota's Rule 10 is unique and is only vaguely based on the federal rule. Therefore, the changes proposed for this rule are minor.
An addition of language to Rule 10(b) is proposed to make it clear that unrepresented parties must be provided with a copy of the transcript. This is consistent with federal changes and is intended to be a clarification of the rule.
A copy of the proposed amendment to Rule 10 is attached.
