Born in 1955, Minot, N.D. Served in North Dakota House of Representatives 1978-1982. Graduated from University of North Dakota School of Law and admitted to Bar in 1985. Worked for Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Senator Mark Andrews in Washington, D.C., 1985-1986. In private practice in Minot 1987-1990. Ward County State's Attorney 1990-2002. Elected District Judge for Northwest Judicial District 2002.
